We are establishing a leading business to develop products that will spearhead the transition to carbon negative building materials of the future. This is done by developing, producing, and commercializing the next generation of carbon negative, plant based, performance building materials for the construction sector. Adaptavate continue to launch new products, build revolutionary processes and grow our game-changing team. Our products are designed for every builder, architect or homeowner to use or specify.
Adaptavate have developed BreathaBoard as a sustainable, low carbon alternative to standard plasterboard. By delivering this innovation through our pilot line, we will catalyse genuine environmental change to the UK and beyond at a time when the planet needs it most.
We are expanding our team and need to build our in-house capabilities in automation, controls and integration. This will be the first role of this nature in a rapidly expanding nature and with it comes a unique opportunity to be part of a globally innovative business delivering systemic environmental change.
Your role:

Our technology business model will see us roll out this technology to a global audience, rapidly, through working with established building product manufacturers internationally who are looking for drop in alternatives to decarbonise the built environment. The controls and automation function will deliver a key capability to the team and the business in delivering this global opportunity at a pivotal point in the companies scale up journey. There will be opportunities to innovate, to engineer and to deliver, not just here in Bristol but to a global market.
This role would suit a collaborative, versatile and curious systemic thinker. In addition to supporting the pilot production line, our small, but perfectly formed, team values collaboration and there will be opportunity to get involved across multiple disciplines across the business, including, sensing, data capture and analysis, in our laboratories, our curing process, and everything in between.
You will have insight into the latest integration solutions and will be comfortable applying this on an industrial scale. You will relish the opportunity to experiment and innovate at pace, in our world first facility.
