We are expanding our team and need a Manufacturing Supervisor, to support us, collaborate with us and help us achieve all that we’re aiming for. We can’t wait for you to join us.

Your Role:

We are looking to recruit a practical candidate who is adaptable and pro-active, to strengthen our engineering and technical teams.

In our workshop, the team is building the first of its kind pilot production line that will make BreathaBoard for commercial projects. The pilot line is not only delivering revolutionary new product but serves as a platform for continuous process development and innovation. We will support you in learning these new processes, so direct prior experience is not necessary, but practical aptitude is required.

Initially you will be part of the commissioning of this exciting new production line. Once commissioned, we will be delivering product to projects around the world as well as developing new product variants. This is not a standard mass production line. We are looking for someone to lead on production and act as a foreman for a workshop, a first port of call for all practical activities.

What do you bring?

· Supporting the Engineering and Operations team in commissioning a new manufacturing capability

· Continuous improvement to our pilot production line

· Managing the production area and flow of materials around the facility

· In-house product testing

· Scheduling of manufacturing activities, to include production line planning

· Delivering a safe working environment through enforcement of company Health and Safety procedures

· Implementation of quality management plan, in conjunction with the Head of Operations

· Collating quality assurance data

· Stock control

· Workshop and Lab maintenance, cleaning, and inspection.

· Order fulfilment

Our Manufacturing Supervisor will:

· Have a minimum of four years’ experience in a production or manufacturing environment

· Be able to discuss their experience in some or all of the following areas;

· Enjoy detailed work, with an eye for accuracy, it would be great if you could show examples where you have worked with/ to standard operating procedures or drawings.

· Be experienced in leading or mentoring team members, including interns and/ or apprentices.

· Demonstrate a ‘can-do’, positive attitude and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done well

· Enjoy working as part of a small, goal-oriented team that want to make a positive impact

· Be comfortable with both independent working and collaborative problem solving

· Work well autonomously, both effectively and efficiently, to meet specific goal deadlines

· Be committed to working collaboratively towards realistic and achievable climate change solutions

In addition to the above, we would love to learn about any mechanical or engineering experience you may have
