Job Description: Production Technician

This is done by developing, producing, and commercialising the next generation of carbon negative, plant based, performance building materials for the construction sector. Adaptavate continue to launch new products, build revolutionary processes and grow our game changing team. Our products are designed for every builder, architect or homeowner to use or specify.
Adaptavate have developed BreathaBoard as a sustainable, low carbon alternative to standard plasterboard. By delivering this innovation through our pilot line, we will catalyse genuine environmental change to the UK and beyond at a time when the planet needs it most.
We are expanding our team and need Production Technicians, to support us, collaborate with us and help us achieve all that we’re aiming for. We can’t wait for you to join us.
Your Role:
We are looking to recruit practical folk who are adaptable and pro-active, to conduct workshop and lab activities. In the workshop, the team will be building our first of a kind pilot production line that will make BreathaBoard for our first commercial projects.
The pilot line is not only delivering product but will serve as a platform for continuous process development and innovation. The manufactured board will need to undergo several in-house tests which you will be conducting in the lab. We will support you in learning these new processes, so direct prior experience is not necessary, but some practical aptitude is required.
Initially you will be part of the building and commissioning of this exciting new production line. Once built, we will be delivering product to projects around the world as well as developing new product variants. This not a standard mass production line. We are building our team, so we have up to two positions available and are looking for at least one candidate to start in the immediate term.
