RESEARCH TECHNICIAN
Kim studied physics at Swansea University, graduating in 2019 with plans of working abroad. However, the COVID-19 pandemic put an end to those plans, leading to Kim joining the Adaptavate team through the Government Kickstarter Scheme in August 2021. Since joining, he has assumed more responsibility and has become a core member of the team.
At Adaptavate, Kim’s role is a research technician, where he is involved in workshop management, experiment planning, sample preparation, reporting, and Breathaboard production.
Kim chose to start his career at Adaptavate due to their shared vision in sustainability, and preservation of bio-diversity. At Adaptavate, he saw the potential to make a real change in global greenhouse emissions.
When not in the lab, you can find Kim watching sport, cooking, keeping fit, or at the pub.
