Our technology

Adaptavate’s patented core technology is a platform of formulations and industrial processes to make carbon-negative and low-carbon construction products, with initial focus on the wallboard category. This starts with Breathaboard, a drop-in product alternative to plasterboard, one of the most used building materials in the world.

Adaptavate’s products are created using its proprietary Black and White Technologies, combining proven IP and process know-how. The model scales globally using local feedstocks, producing renewable energy alongside high-performance, carbon-negative materials.

Black Technology is a proprietary, drop-in process that enables existing wallboard manufacturers to produce carbon-negative wallboard at commodity prices.

White Technology

Adaptavate’s White Technology is a proprietary, regenerative process that uses renewable local feedstocks to produce high-performance, healthy products. They are drop-in solutions that are installed in the same way, meet or even exceed performance standards, and are compostable at end of life.

Black Technology

Adaptavate’s Black Technology is a proprietary, drop-in process that enables existing wallboard manufacturers to produce carbon-negative wallboard at commodity prices. It also lowers the cost and carbon of their existing process, accelerating route to industry-wide impact.
