Kim studied physics at Swansea University, graduating in 2019 with plans of working abroad. However, the COVID-19 pandemic put an end to those plans, leading to Kim signing up to the Government Kickstarter Scheme, where we were lucky enough to find him. Since then, he has assumed more responsibility and has become a core member of the team.
At Adaptavate, Kim’s role is Research Engineer. He is involved in workshop management, experiment planning, sample preparation, reporting, and Breathaboard production.
Kim chose to start his career at Adaptavate due to our shared vision in sustainability, and preservation of biodiversity. At Adaptavate, he saw the potential to make a real difference in reducing global greenhouse emissions.
When not in the lab, you can find Kim watching sport, cooking, keeping fit or at the pub.
