We are answering the urgent call to decarbonise construction globally, by developing the low carbon and carbon-negative technologies and products needed, and the industrial ecosystem to deploy them fast, anywhere in the world.

To succeed in our mission, we are looking for a Head of Marketing & Communications (maternity cover) who will be responsible for our external communications and marketing activities to communicate our brand story.

Your role

This role will include, but is not limited to;

  • Delivering a clear, marketing and communication plan

  • Working closely with product team to lead the marketing of our product ranges

  • Leading and implementing the marketing and communications strategy for Adaptavate and Breathaplasta

  • Ensuring the use of Adaptavate brand and sub-brands (i.e. Breathaplasta) is consistent across and within our business

  • Supporting and mentoring the Marketing and Communications Executive in the social media management and the creation of compelling, memorable content

  • Representing and communicating our brand, values and mission

  • Building networking opportunities.  

  • Acting as the marketing and communications lead within the leadership team, contributing insight and recommendations to company‑level planning and decision‑making. 

You will

  • Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in delivering stand out, disruptive communications and marketing strategies.    

  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills   

  • Multi-disciplinary marketing skills  

  • Experience of owning and using a company's voice to stand out in an industry   

  • Experience of managing PR and marketing campaigns from creation to completion 

  • The ability to manage content creation across a range of mediums i.e., Graphic, Photography, Video, Copywriting

  • Excellent IT skills   

  • A disruptive, pragmatic and creative mindset  

  • Some experience in sustainability communications would be preferred, but it’s not a deal-breaker  

  • A ‘can-do’ attitude and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done well.
