We are answering the urgent call to decarbonise construction globally, by developing the low carbon and carbon-negative technologies and products needed, and the industrial ecosystem to deploy them fast, anywhere in the world.
To succeed in our mission, we are looking for a Laboratory Technician to support the development of next-generation building materials through hands-on laboratory work, including sample preparation, formulation trials, and product testing. Working closely with scientists, chemists and engineers, the role will involve operating laboratory equipment, recording and presenting results, and contributing to the continuous improvement and scaleup of new products.
Your role
This role will include, but is not limited to;
Assisting in the development of the next generation of carbon negative building materials
Carrying out formulation development
Conducting product testing and data collection
Analysing broad data sets
Presenting lab results to the wider team
Maintaining high standards of laboratory organisation and cleanliness.
You will
Have practical laboratory or workshop experience (preferably within building/ construction industry)
Be educated in a STEM-related subject
Want to be part of a curious, goal oriented and purpose driven team
Be meticulous with detail and data accuracy
Have a positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning
Competently use basic data analysis and reporting tools.
