The UK-born company is accelerating its work to make its low-carbon and carbon-negative building products widely available
BRISTOL, UK, November 2024. Adaptavate, a world leader in developing and industrialising low-carbon and carbon-negative construction materials, welcomes Tim Myatt as head of sales. Tim will play a key role in continuing to build and grow Adaptavate’s customer’s network.
Breathaplasta is Adaptavate’s first market-ready product, a range of high-quality breathable plasters, that are fast-setting and easy to use. Adaptavate introduced the new Breathaplasta range, consisting of Breathaplasta Thermal, Breathaplasta Universal and Breathaplasta Smooth, in March 2023. In the last year, Breathaplasta revenue has grown by 45%.
Tim Myatt has broad experience within the built environment, having been integral to the development of Build Aviator (Saint-Gobain) and held roles such as Group Commercial Manager at a well-known glazing company. “For the last seven years I have helped architects, developers and contractors make their projects better and I am excited to join Adaptavate and its passionate team to help grow the business further and support all our customers”, said Myatt, head of sales at Adaptavate.
Tom Robinson, CEO and founder of Adaptavate, said: “We are developing solutions that will transition our industry to low-carbon and carbon negative building materials. Our products are designed for every builder, architect or homeowner to use or specify. In the last few years, we are achieving significant growth as the market more widely adopts our solutions. A key part of this is making our product more widely available. We aim to be in every builder’s merchant within the next three years and Tim’s experience and network is going to help us achieve this. I am confident that Tim’s appointment will facilitate further growth in sales and even better customer relations! His passion and teamwork focus really fit with Adaptavate’s culture.”
Adaptavate has undergone high growth over the last two years, doubling the size of its team, commissioning the first pilot line to produce its innovative alternative to plasterboard, Breathaboard, and increasing the number of projects that use its Breathaplasta products (see Breathaplasta case studies HERE).
