Verity Mason-Evans

Verity studied chemistry at Cardiff University. Upon graduating in 2021, she became a materials scientist at a market leading construction company. Here, she worked on R&D projects that focused on non-combustible solutions for building insulation.

Here at Adaptavate, Verity is a Research Scientist. Her primary role is to help develop Breathaboard as the world’s first carbon-negative plasterboard. Day to day you will find her in the lab, making and testing boards, or running trials on the pilot line.

Verity joined Adaptavate because she believes in protecting the welfare of the planet and those that inhabit it. The construction industry is a key contributor to global warming and Adaptavate is at the forefront of changing that. She believes in Adaptavate as an environmentally and morally conscious company that recognises that the planet cannot sustain in a society that prioritises money over all else.

Outside of work, you can find Verity meditating in a quiet corner or dancing like a fool at a music festival.
