Each coat should be up to 10 mm thick.
Up to 20mm max per day.
Up to 50mm max total thickness.

Approx. 5 square metres at 4mm thickness
Setting time per coat
Approximately 45-60 minutes.
Surface preparation
Dub out the wall to fill and level any hollows or depressions. Wall should be flat and even prior to plastering.
Mist the hempcrete surface with clean water approx. 2-3 times in the 10-15 mins before plastering to help control suction.
Recommended plaster application
Mix Universal to approx. 8 litres of clean water per 18kg bag of dry powder used.
Mix the plaster using a paddle mix for approx. 3 minutes.
Base coat of Universal up to 10mm. This coat should be sprayed or cast on (thrown) to improve bond between plaster and substrate.
Second coat of Universal up to 10mm. Apply by trowel using firm and even pressure.
Finishing coat approx. 2-3mm of Universal or Smooth.
Mist the surface of the finished plaster lightly and evenly across the whole surface, to help ensure the plaster cures well.
